Sizes vary by market; common European dimensions include around 800 x 1200 mm, while North American variants are often around 1000 x 1200 mm or 1200 x 1000 mm. Materials are usually softwood or hardwood, and pallets can be heat-treated to comply with export requirements (ISPM 15).

Uses and maintenance: Blockpaletten are widely used in manufacturing, logistics, and distribution due to their durability and repairability. If a block or section becomes damaged, individual blocks can often be replaced without discarding the entire pallet.
