Reumatyzm is a general term used to describe a variety of conditions that cause pain, stiffness, and swelling in the joints and surrounding tissues. Treatment approaches are tailored to the specific diagnosis and aim to manage pain, reduce inflammation, preserve joint function, and prevent further damage. This can include medications such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs), and biologics. Physical therapy, occupational therapy, and lifestyle modifications, including exercise and weight management, also play crucial roles in managing rheumatic conditions and improving overall well-being.
