Sérülésekbl

Sérülésekbl refers to injuries, defined as damage to body tissues caused by external force or repetitive stress. They range from minor injuries to significant trauma and can affect skin, muscles, ligaments, bones, nerves, and internal organs. Injuries may be acute or develop over time.

Acute injuries occur suddenly, often during sport or accidents, and include fractures, sprains (ligament injuries), strains (muscle or tendon injuries), contusions, dislocations, lacerations and concussions. Chronic or overuse injuries arise from repetitive stress and insufficient recovery, such as tendinopathy or stress fractures.

Initial assessment and first aid: stop activity and assess pain, swelling, deformity, numbness or inability to bear weight. For minor injuries, apply ice, compress with a bandage, elevate the limb, and rest. Seek medical care for suspected fractures, deep cuts, head or spinal injury, or severe symptoms.

Diagnosis and treatment depend on the injury type and may include history, physical examination, imaging (X-ray, MRI). Treatments range from immobilization and splinting to surgery in some cases, plus analgesia. Rehabilitation with gradual loading and physical therapy is often important for recovery.

Prevention includes proper warm-up and stretching, correct technique, appropriate protective equipment, safe environments, gradual training progression, adequate rest and recovery, hydration, and addressing biomechanical factors that predispose to injuries.

Return to activity should be gradual and guided by pain-free movement and functional restoration; clearance from a clinician is often advised, with stepwise reintroduction to sport-specific drills.
