Definition: A testsene consists of the system under test, the preconditions (such as data state or configuration), the inputs or events to be applied, the environmental configuration (hardware, OS, network, external services), the execution steps, and the expected outcome or acceptance criteria. It may also specify failure modes, postconditions, and traceability links to requirements.
