Patcharna

Patcharna is the Swedish term for patches, referring to items designed to cover or reinforce material, or to indicate affiliation, achievement, or status. While commonly associated with fabric patches, the term also applies to software updates and certain medical patches in broader usage.

Textile patches include repair patches that cover holes and worn areas, as well as decorative and branded patches sewn or ironed onto fabrics. They come in embroidery, woven, or printed forms, with iron-on, sew-on, or Velcro backings.
