Sensoriaalset is a term used in Estonian-language discussions of perception and cognition to denote the total set of sensory modalities that are engaged by a person in a given situation, task, or environment. The word combines sensory elements with set, signaling the constellation of senses involved. The sensoriaalset typically includes primary senses such as vision, hearing, touch, taste, and smell, as well as kinesthetic, proprioceptive and vestibular cues, and in some contexts higher-level cues such as body awareness and interoception. The concept focuses on how information from multiple senses is acquired, weighed, and integrated to form perception and guide action.
