Pasigurisë is the Albanian term for insecurity, referring to the state or condition of lacking safety or protection, as well as the subjective feeling of being unsafe. The word is used in both everyday language and more formal contexts to describe situations where individuals, groups, or communities face real or perceived risks.

The concept encompasses objective conditions and personal perceptions. Objective aspects include crime rates, perception of violence, exposure to natural hazards, economic precarity, or weaknesses in institutions that protect rights and property. Subjective insecurity involves fear, anxiety, or a sense of vulnerability that may persist even when measurable risks are low.
