Typical features include a dock edge with fendering to absorb impact, bollards or cleats for mooring, dock levelers or ramps to adjust height, and sheltering or seal against weather. Equipment used at a lastbrygga includes forklifts, pallet jacks, pallet racking, container cranes or container chassis, and sometimes automated docking systems.
