Söll

Söll is a municipality in the Kufstein district in the western Austrian state of Tyrol. It lies in the Brixental valley at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser mountains, roughly 40 kilometers east of Innsbruck and near the town of Kufstein. The town is a central part of the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, one of Austria’s largest interconnected ski areas, linking Söll with nearby villages such as Scheffau, Ellmau and Hopfgarten. In winter, Söll serves as a base for skiing and other snow-related tourism; in summer the region is popular with hikers and cyclists.
