Projektdidaktik

Projektdidaktik is a didactic approach in which teaching and learning are organized around authentic, student-centered projects. It aims to integrate knowledge from multiple subjects and to place learners in an active, inquiry-based role. The teacher acts mainly as a facilitator and project supervisor, guiding planning, collaboration, and reflection rather than merely delivering content.

Core elements include the definition of meaningful tasks, interdisciplinary linkage, and the planning of a project cycle. Projects typically begin with a problem or task, followed by goal setting, idea generation, and collaborative work. Students produce concrete results or presentations and compare outcomes with evaluation criteria. Reflection and feedback are embedded throughout the process to improve learning and transferability. Assessment combines formative checks with summative outcomes, often using rubrics, portfolios, and self- or peer evaluation.

Implementation requires alignment with curriculum standards and learning objectives. Successful projektdidaktik depends on careful topic selection, realistic timelines, and support for teamwork and resource management.
