Objectives should be aligned with higher-level goals and realistic given available resources. They should include clear indicators of success and a timeline for achievement.

Evaluation involves monitoring progress against defined indicators and adjusting as needed. Common pitfalls include vagueness, overambition, misalignment with broader aims, and failure to specify how success will be measured. Clear objectives enable focused planning, accountability, and evidence-based assessment of outcomes.
