Muziekweek

Muziekweek, literally “Music Week,” is a term used in the Netherlands and parts of Belgium to designate a week-long focus on music. There is no single national Muziekweek; rather, multiple cities and cultural organizations organize their own editions, often annually or on a rotating schedule. The event typically features a program across multiple venues and aims to support artists, venues, and the music industry while engaging local communities.

Programming during a Muziekweek usually includes live performances in theatres, clubs, and public spaces, as well as showcases for emerging artists. In addition, there are talks, panel discussions about the music business, workshops, and masterclasses.
