Madresilva
Madresilva, also known as honeysuckle in English, refers to species within the genus Lonicera, family Caprifoliaceae. These plants are primarily climbing shrubs that twine around supports, though some species are shrubby or ground-covering. Leaves are opposite and generally simple; many species are evergreen in mild climates, while others are deciduous. Flowers are typically tubular and two-lipped, produced in clusters, and show a wide color range from white and yellow to pink, orange, or red. A notable feature of many species is a strong, sweet fragrance, especially in the evening.
Native to temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere, madresilva have been widely cultivated as ornamental plants
