LuftDL

LuftDL is an open-source texture and model treatment (TMT) framework for the World of Tanks game, developed by a team of enthusiasts from across the globe. It allows graphic enhancements and customizations to game assets without altering the original files.

The name "LuftDL" is a portmanteau of "LuftWaffe" (the former German air force) and "DL" (dynamic link), referring to the LuftDL engine that enables dynamic linking and real-time re-texuring of 3D models. This framework integrates with the World of Tanks game client and accepts various treatments of visual tweak, tinting, and full replacement of original textures and models.

LuftDL enables users to extensively customize the visual aspects of World of Tanks without sacrificing game performance due to its non-invasive design. It allows tuners to embellish models with fresh visual attributes by composing gigapixel 3D meshes.
