Preventive measures are crucial for reducing the incidence of household accidents. These include securing stairs with railings, ensuring good lighting, storing hazardous substances safely out of reach, using safety gates for children, and maintaining a clutter-free environment. Regular maintenance of electrical appliances and plumbing can also prevent accidents. Awareness and education play a significant role in fostering a safer home environment for all occupants.
