EMCC

EMCC, the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, is a professional body that supports coaching, mentoring, and supervision practitioners and organizations across Europe and beyond. Founded in the early 1990s, EMCC develops and promotes professional standards and ethics to enhance competence and accountability in the profession. The council operates a credentialing framework by which individuals and organizations can obtain recognition of their capabilities. This includes accreditation for coaches, mentors, and supervisors, as well as quality assurance for training providers and coaching programs. In addition to accreditation, EMCC publishes a code of ethics, practitioner guidelines, and research summaries, and provides resources to support professional development and reflective practice.

EMCC members include individual practitioners, supervisors, and organizations that employ or contract coaches and mentors. National
