DJmixer
DJmixer is an electronic device used by disc jockeys to mix audio signals from multiple sources, such as vinyl turntables, CD players, media controllers, or DJ software. It serves as the central hub for controlling levels, timing, and effects, before the final mix is routed to the club sound system. A typical mixer provides several channels, each with a gain control, a three-band equalizer, and a channel fader; many include an assignable crossfader for transitions between two outputs. A cue system lets the DJ listen to a source in headphones without sending it to the main mix. Additional features may include built-in effects, a send/return path for external processors, booth monitoring, and a master output.
Common input options include phono inputs for turntables and line-level inputs for CD players or controllers.
Mixers come in analog, digital, and hybrid designs. Analog mixers process signals with passive or discrete circuitry
