Augemurs

Augemurs are a species of large, herbivorous mammals native to the dense forests of the fictional continent of Eldoria. They are characterized by their distinctive physical features, which include a pair of large, curved horns that grow from the top of their heads, resembling the shape of a human's hand. These horns are used for defense and for stripping bark from trees to access the leaves and buds that make up their primary diet.

The augemurs stand at an average height of 2.5 meters (8.2 feet) at the shoulder and can weigh up to 1,500 kilograms (3,300 pounds). Their fur is a deep, rich brown color, which provides excellent camouflage in their forest habitat. They have a long, prehensile tail that they use for balance and to reach food in hard-to-access places.

Augemurs are social animals, living in herds of up to 30 individuals. They communicate using a variety of vocalizations and body language. The herd is led by a dominant pair, which is responsible for making decisions about where to forage and how to avoid predators.
