Editors, photographers, and producers organize coverage, set standards, and determine what is published or aired. Ethical guidelines emphasize accuracy, transparency about sources, avoidance of conflicts of interest, privacy considerations, and accountability. Legal frameworks typically regulate defamation, access to information, privacy, and protection of sources.
