The Air Traffic Management Information Group, commonly abbreviated as ATMIG, is a non‑profit consortium that supports the global aviation sector by developing best‑practice guidelines, technology standards, and training resources for air traffic management (ATM). Its primary aim is to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability across air navigation systems worldwide.

Founded in 1998 by a coalition of major airlines, national air traffic service providers, and aviation‑industry regulators, ATMIG initially focused on information exchange and coordination during the transition from legacy radar‑based operations to next‑generation surveillance technologies. Since then, the organization has expanded its mandate to encompass emerging topics such as unmanned aircraft systems, satellite‑based navigation, and artificial‑intelligence‑driven traffic flow management.

ATMIG’s membership structure includes 50 member organizations, representing airlines, airports, national aviation authorities, and equipment manufacturers.
