Täissüsteem is a term in Estonian that refers to a complete, integrated system designed to fulfill a defined set of functions. It denotes a holistic approach in which all necessary subsystems, components, interfaces, data flows and processes are designed and operated as a coherent whole, rather than as separate, loosely connected parts. The concept is used across engineering, information technology and organizational design to emphasize interoperability, end-to-end functionality and lifecycle management.

A täissüsteem typically comprises hardware, software, communications, and human or organizational elements, along with governance and maintenance processes. Its architecture is usually modular to allow upgrades and scaling, yet tightly integrated to ensure reliability, safety and consistent performance. Key characteristics include interoperability between subsystems, clear interface definitions, robust data exchange, fault tolerance, and a lifecycle approach from requirements to deployment, operation and eventual decommissioning.
