Teknologisystem (technology systems) refer to integrated sets of technologies, people, and processes designed to achieve specific goals by transforming inputs into outputs. The term encompasses both physical devices and digital components, as well as the organizational procedures that bind them into a coherent whole. Teknologisystem span hardware, software, data, networks, and human operators, and they typically follow a lifecycle from requirements and design to operation and decommissioning.

The rise of the Internet of Things, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence has increased integration across domains, making technology systems increasingly sociotechnical in nature and requiring attention to organizational culture, governance, and human-technology interaction.
