Sebae, also known as Pseudocrenilabrus multicolor, is a small, colorful cichlid species native to Northeast Africa. It is commonly found in brackish and freshwater habitats, including the Nile River basin, Lake Albert, and Lake Turkana. These fish are highly adaptable and can tolerate a wide range of water conditions, making them popular in the aquarium hobby.

In their natural environment, Sebae typically inhabit shallow, weedy areas where they can find ample food and shelter. Their diet consists mainly of small invertebrates, insect larvae, and algae. They are omnivorous and opportunistic feeders.

Sebae cichlids are known for their vibrant coloration, especially the males, which display a striking mosaic of iridescent blues, greens, and oranges.
