Jokamiehenoikeudet, commonly translated as everyman's rights, are a traditional Finnish set of freedoms allowing general access to nature. They enable people to roam and enjoy the countryside, camp for a short period, and collect wild berries and mushrooms, largely on private land and in open spaces, as long as nature and other people's rights are respected. The rights are widely observed but not contained in a single statute.

These rights cover traversing most land and inland waters in the countryside, forests, fields, and shores. People may hike, ski, and cycle, and may likewise set up a temporary camp away from dwellings. Berry and mushroom picking is generally allowed. There is no general license needed for such activities, but activities must be conducted without causing damage or disturbance.

Jokamiehenoikeudet are subject to important limitations. Respect for private property and privacy is essential; disturbing homes, gardens, crops, or livestock is prohibited. The rights do not override protected areas, nature reserves, or official restrictions. Fires are allowed only with care and in suitable places; leaving no trace and cleaning up is required. Certain areas, such as reindeer grazing lands and breeding sites, may have additional restrictions.

Historically rooted in Finnish culture, jokamiehenoikeudet are a recognized customary practice rather than a single written statute. They are supported by laws governing land use, nature conservation, and local regulations, and may be clarified by authorities in specific regions. Similar concepts exist in neighboring Nordic countries under names such as Sweden's allemansrätten.
