The term is not tied to a single product, but to a family of techniques that adapts evolutionary search to combinatorial routing problems.

In a typical deliveryga framework, solutions encode routes, vehicle assignments, and timing decisions as genetic representations. A fitness function evaluates plan quality using criteria such as total travel distance, total delivery time, number of late deliveries, and adherence to time windows, as well as vehicle capacity and energy consumption.
