Trends and impact: Electrification and hybridization expand power electronics and battery management. Advanced driver-assistance systems and autonomous features push higher-processing power and data flows. Automotive Ethernet and software-defined cars enable richer connectivity and OTA updates, while cybersecurity and reliability remain central concerns.
