Vahendamine

Vahendamine is a term in Estonian that describes the act or process of providing means to achieve an objective. It encompasses the provisioning of tools, resources, or mechanisms that enable people, organizations, or systems to carry out tasks. Derived from vahend (tool, means) and the suffix -amine, it denotes an action rather than a static state.

In economic and financial discourse, vahendamine commonly refers to financing: the provision of capital, credit, guarantees, or other instruments to support projects, activities, or enterprises. It can involve banks, governments, or development institutions acting as financiers or intermediaries, channeling resources to recipients through loans, grants, or guarantees.
