Träfiberplattor, commonly known as fiberboard or sometimes hardboard, are engineered wood products manufactured from wood fibers. These fibers are typically a byproduct of sawmills or other wood processing operations. These fibers are then mixed with binders, such as synthetic resins, and pressed under heat and pressure to form dense, rigid sheets.
