Traumajärgsed refers to conditions or symptoms that arise following a traumatic event. This is most commonly associated with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), but the term can encompass a broader range of psychological and physiological responses to trauma. Traumatic events can include life-threatening experiences, such as military combat, natural disasters, serious accidents, or acts of violence.

The symptoms of traumajärgsed conditions can vary widely and may manifest in several ways. These often include intrusive memories, flashbacks, nightmares, and avoidance of situations or thoughts that remind the individual of the trauma.
