Scheffékriteerit

Scheffékriteerit is a rare mineral species that belongs to the class of clinopyroxene. It has a composition of (Li,Na,Ca)(Mg,Fe,Al)Si2O6, which indicates its complex and varied chemical makeup. The mineral was first discovered in 1984 in the state of Sapporo, Japan, by a group of scientists conducting geologic studies.
