Reuzengebergte
Reuzengebergte, also known as the Giant Mountains, is a modest mountain range situated in the central part of Suriname, South America. The range forms part of the larger Guiana Shield, a Precambrian geological formation that underlies much of the northern Amazon basin. Its highest peak, Cerro de la Montaña, reaches an elevation of approximately 1,050 metres (3,445 ft) above sea level, making it one of the higher points in the country, though it remains lower than the country's most prominent summit, the Julianatop.
