Püreneid

Püreneid is an ancient Thracian settlement located in Anna complex, historically on the southern bank of Strandzha mountain in Bulgaria. Prior to the Communist regime overthrow in 1989, the archaeological findings remained a mystery due to the rapid forest reforestation.

Systematic archaeological excavations begun after 1989 by professors V. Slaveva and A. Boyadzhiev unveiled various fragments of artifacts, specifically interacts from püreneid and Mangalia Alexander from artifacts created during the material classical period.
