Pallmagasins

Pallmagasins, also known as pallet magazines or pallet dispensers, are automated storage and retrieval systems designed to handle and store pallets. They are commonly found in industrial settings such as warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing plants. The primary function of a pallmagasin is to efficiently manage the flow of pallets, often by buffering them before they are loaded onto forklifts or automated guided vehicles (AGVs), or after they have been unloaded.

These systems typically consist of a vertical or horizontal racking structure that can hold a number of pallets. When a pallet arrives, the pallmagasin stores it in an available slot. When a pallet is needed, the system retrieves it and presents it to the outgoing conveyor or loading area. This automation helps to streamline operations, reduce manual labor, and improve the overall speed and accuracy of pallet handling.

Pallmagasins can vary in complexity and capacity, with some systems designed for high-density storage and others focusing on rapid in-and-out throughput.
