Näppäinlukot
Näppäinlukot, also known as keypads or PIN pads, are electronic input devices used for entering numeric or alphanumeric codes. They are commonly found in security systems, payment terminals, and access control devices. A näppäinlukko consists of a matrix of buttons, typically arranged in a grid, which the user presses to input their desired code. When a button is pressed, it sends a signal to the connected electronic system, indicating which key was activated.
The primary function of a näppäinlukko is to provide a secure and convenient method for user authentication
Näppäinlukot can be designed with different key layouts, such as a standard telephone-style keypad (4x3 grid)
