Näopuhastusmaske, commonly referred to as facial cleansing masks, are skincare products designed to deep-cleanse the skin on the face. These masks typically contain ingredients that absorb excess oil, draw out impurities from pores, and exfoliate dead skin cells. They are applied to the face and left on for a specified duration before being rinsed off, revealing a refreshed complexion.

The types of näopuhastusmaske vary widely depending on their intended purpose and active ingredients. Clay-based masks, such as those containing kaolin or bentonite clay, are popular for their oil-absorbing properties, making them suitable for oily and acne-prone skin. Charcoal masks utilize activated charcoal to help detoxify and remove pollutants from the skin. Exfoliating masks often contain alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) or beta-hydroxy acids (BHAs) to slough off dead skin cells and improve skin texture.
