Metallremsa

Metallremsa, translated as metal strip, is a flat, elongated piece of metal produced in coils or sheets and cut to desired lengths. It is manufactured by rolling or drawing to a uniform thickness and may be solid or perforated. Metal strips are used as binding straps, spacers, fasteners, gaskets, or decorative trim, depending on width, thickness, and material.

Common thickness ranges from about 0.05 to 3 millimeters, and widths from a few millimeters to several centimeters. The strips are stored and transported on reels or in cut-to-length pieces.
