Latwerk

Latwerk is a term used to describe a latticework made from slender slats or laths arranged in a regular or decorative pattern. It serves both decorative and functional roles in architecture and interior design, functioning as screens, partitions, façades, railings, or shading elements. The pattern can be simple grids or more intricate diagonals, diamonds, or herringbone motifs.
