Konstruktører

Konstruktører is the plural of konstruktør, a term used in Danish and Norwegian to describe someone who designs, plans, or builds things. The word has several related meanings depending on context: in everyday language it can refer to designers or engineers; in computing it denotes a programming construct. In shipbuilding and industry, a konstruktør is a professional who translates ideas into tangible products or systems.

In programming, a constructor is a special procedure used to create an object and initialize its state. A konstruktør is typically a function or method that runs at the moment an object is created, setting initial field values and allocating resources. Some languages support multiple constructors (overloading); others provide factory methods. In Java and C#, the constructor has the same name as the class and no return type; in Python, object initialization is performed by __init__, while __new__ handles object creation.

Outside programming, a konstruktør can be a design engineer or architect who plans and oversees construction projects.
