IngéAll

IngéAll is a cross-disciplinary engineering platform and ecosystem designed to streamline product development by integrating design, simulation, manufacturing, and collaboration tools. It emphasizes openness and interoperability with third-party applications and data formats to support end-to-end workflows.

The project originated as a joint effort among universities and industry partners in Europe and North America, with a public launch in 2023. Its aim is to provide a digital thread for engineering work, reduce data silos, and enable multidisciplinary teams to work on shared models.

At its core, IngéAll offers a modular cloud-based platform with open application programming interfaces, versioned asset management, and real-time collaboration. It integrates CAD/CAM/CAE capabilities, supports AI-assisted design optimization, and provides automation and scripting to tailor workflows. It uses a common data model to enable data exchange across tools and formats.

The platform supports manufacturing planning, simulation-backed validation, and supply chain collaboration. It is applied across automotive, aerospace, consumer electronics, infrastructure, and research environments, and it supports additive manufacturing integration and virtual prototyping.

In practice, IngéAll has been adopted by mid-sized manufacturers and research laboratories to shorten development cycles and improve data traceability. Users value interoperability and scalability, while some note a learning curve for new users and the need for ongoing community and vendor support.

Going forward, the project seeks to broaden its ecosystem with additional connectors, expand AI-assisted capabilities, and enhance governance features to support regulated engineering domains.
