Gatas

Gatas is the plural form of gata, a term used in Spanish and Portuguese for a female domestic cat. Gatas may refer to a group of female cats or to female cats within a population. The masculine equivalents are gato and gatos, used for male cats or mixed-sex groups. The term is common in everyday speech among speakers of these languages and is widely understood in discussions of cats.

Domestic cats belong to the species Felis catus. Female cats typically reach sexual maturity around five to six months.
