FabryPérotlike
FabryPérotlike refers to devices or phenomena that exhibit characteristics similar to a Fabry-Pérot interferometer but may not be a literal implementation of that specific optical setup. A Fabry-Pérot interferometer is an optical instrument consisting of two parallel highly reflective surfaces separated by a distance. When light enters this cavity, it undergoes multiple reflections between the surfaces. Constructive interference occurs for wavelengths that fit an integer number of half-wavelengths within the cavity, leading to a transmission spectrum with sharp peaks.
In a FabryPérotlike system, this principle of multiple reflections and constructive interference within a resonant cavity
For example, a FabryPérotlike acoustic resonator might consist of two parallel sound-reflecting surfaces. Sound waves entering
