Constructive

Constructive is an adjective describing something that builds up, creates, or improves. It is often contrasted with destructive, but in many contexts it also signals a practical, solution-oriented stance rather than purely theoretical analysis.

Mathematics and philosophy: In mathematics, constructive refers to methods that demonstrate how to build an object rather than prove existence nonconstructively. A constructive proof must provide an explicit construction or algorithm. This approach underpins constructive mathematics and intuitionistic logic, which rejects certain classical principles such as the law of the excluded middle in some contexts.
