Enhetspaket

Enhetspaket is a term used in Norwegian and Swedish to describe a pre-defined, standardized bundle of items delivered as a single unit. The concept is applied in procurement, engineering, and logistics to simplify ordering, installation, and ongoing maintenance by providing a ready-to-use package rather than separate components.

The word combines enhet (unit) with paket (package), and in practice a enhetspaket consists of items that are designed to work together, with standardized interfaces, documentation, and often a defined installation process. Packages are typically offered at a single price and with a single point of contact for support, warranty, and updates.

Common features include the main equipment or components, necessary accessories and cables, installation or assembly instructions, warranty terms, service options, and sometimes pre-installed software or configuration. The idea is to reduce integration risk and lead times by delivering a cohesive, interoperable set rather than disparate parts.
