Variants envision different cores (such as RISC-V or ARM) and packaging schemes (including chip-scale packages) without a unified ecosystem.

Design and architecture: Chipbud designs typically envision a die-level or chip-scale package containing a CPU, RAM, flash or other memory, and interfaces such as GPIO, I2C, SPI, UART, and sometimes analog inputs.
