Utilization pertains to how the body makes use of the nutrients in food, which is affected by factors like food safety, dietary diversity, and health status. Stability ensures that access to adequate food is maintained over time, without being disrupted by sudden shocks or cyclical events such as economic crises or climate change.

Ensuring food security is a complex challenge involving multiple stakeholders, including governments, international organizations, civil society, and the private sector.
