zespalanie

Zespalanie is a term used in Polish to describe the process of joining separate components into a single, cohesive whole. It denotes the act of building up a joint or connection that transfers load and enables a structure or device to function as an integrated unit. The concept is applied across engineering, manufacturing, and construction and encompasses a variety of techniques grouped by the joining mechanism: mechanical fastening, adhesive bonding, and fusion (thermal or chemical) of materials.

Common methods include mechanical fastening (bolts, rivets, screws), adhesive bonding (epoxy, polyurethane, UV-curable adhesives), welding, brazing and soldering, and thermomechanical joining such as friction welding or clinching. Some zespalanie processes create a continuous metal or polymer mass, while others produce a reinforced joint within a larger assembly. Selection depends on materials, required strength, operating environment, and service life.
