Applications vary by sector. Residential interiors often prioritize comfort and appearance with wood or tile floors, while offices may use raised floors for service distribution. Industrial settings favor concrete or heavy-duty epoxy floors for durability. In modern building information modeling (BIM) workflows, vloertypes are defined as floor elements with attributes for structure, finish, thickness, and installation details, supporting standardized documentation and asset management.
