serigraafias
Serigraafias, or serigraphy, refers to the printmaking technique and the resulting works produced by using a screen to transfer ink onto a substrate. The process relies on a fine mesh screen, usually polyester, stretched in a frame, with a stencil blocking ink in areas where no image is desired. Ink is forced through the unblocked areas of the mesh with a squeegee, creating an image on paper, fabric, or other materials. For multiple colors, separate screens are used for each color and the print is aligned precisely in a process known as registration.
The technique offers advantages such as bold, saturated colors, relatively high production speed, and the ability
