Vocals are typically cleanly captured and processed, with subtle melodic and rhythmic interest. The timbres frequently rely on synthesized sounds, and effects such as reverb, delay, and deliberate stereo widening are common. Sidechain compression and contemporary vocal processing, including pitch correction, are often used to achieve a polished, radio- and streaming-friendly aesthetic. Arrangements tend to favor concise structures and maintaining energy through the mix.
