Ensembletekniker, or ensemble technician, is a professional in the performing arts who supports an ensemble—such as an orchestra, chamber group, theatre company, or other performance collective—by handling technical operations during rehearsals and performances. Work environments vary from fixed venues to touring productions. Ensembletekniker collaborate closely with musicians, performers, stage management, and lighting or video crews to ensure performances run smoothly and according to the artistic and technical requirements.
